During the Workshop on November 29th at Riverside, we are holding a sale of any unwanted art or craft materials, frames, mounts - in fact anything you no longer need.

BRING CASH!

All those art things you bought online during lockdown which looked like such a good idea, but you’ve never used? Unwanted art gifts? Those paints, pastels, pencils, paper and brushes you haven’t used for years? Bring them all down on the 29th, labelled with
a price and your name. We will sell them for you and only ask for a donation from your sales to Club funds at the end of the afternoon.

We will also be holding a raffle, the prize is pictured above.

Also on the 29th November, John Hunt will be bringing art books donated by the family of Neil Archer. These will be sold by donation which will benefit “The Brainy Bunch” charity. These are ‘as new’ mainly sketching, drawing and watercolour books all in excellent condition.

For our first zoom demo of the winter we are delighted to have Roger Dellar giving us a portrait demo in oils. Roger is a well respected versatile artist and a very competent tutor. He is a member of the RI, ROI and the Pastel Society. He will be painting a portrait of one of our members. 
Please note this demo will only be zoomed live at the Riverside, so please come along.

For our first Workshop Study day for several years, Daphne Ellman will be running a session on 'The Fun of Complementary Colours' at The Riverside on Friday 4th November from 10am - 4pm. 

Daphne will start the session with an exercise using her own subject and working with a basic limited complementary palette, then we later progress onto another subject of our own choice, using an expanded palette of complementary colours.

The session would be suitable for working either in acrylics or watercolour.

You can put your name down at the Riverside and pay by Bank Transfer or pay by SumUp at Riverside. Bank transfer details will be on the Club email.

Please sign up by 18th October, the cost for the whole day is £45. The Riverside are returning to offering pre-ordered snack lunches at reasonable prices and a menu will be circulated first thing in the morning if you want to take advantage.

Spaces are limited, so sign up soon to avoid disappointment.
