Date for your diary

The next IWAC Exhibition is due to be held again at Quarr Abbey from Thursday 31st August until Tuesday 5th September, 10.30am-4.30pm daily. This is a real opportunity for all Exhibiting Members to showcase their work.

The last day for entries is Wednesday 23rd August.

14th July to  24th July opening times vary. Quite a few IWAC Members are exhibiting this year, the brochures have been distributed and the posters are up. Look out for the Open Studios distinctive red and white bunting and please go along to support all our island artists.

To remind everyone our next exhibition will once again be at Quarr Abbey from 31st August to 5th September. Keep checking the website, forms will be available to download.

Our thanks go to Ian Wright our excellent Exhibition Organizer. He has produced a report and you can read it by clicking on the attachment above. Gratitude must also go to his wife Linda, who took on a lot of extra work, so for the first time we were able sell artists cards. The painting illustrated here was painted by Jane Absolom and as well as being voted 'Favourite in Show' provoked many memories amongst the locals who viewed it.
