IWAC Member, Tony Westmore is running two painting holidays in France this year.
Enjoy a Painting Holiday in France at The Manoir de Gurson in the Perigord area of France. Tony will be returning to the Manoir de Gurson again in 2019 for two Painting Holidays. These will focus on Sketching and Painting in water based media within the 98 acre estate of the Manoir and at other picturesque sites nearby. The holiday dates are, 1st to 8th June 2019 and 31st August to 7th September 2019. They will be small groups with one-to-one tuition time with students. The cost will be £695 for accommodation, food and tutoring and £550 for non-participants sharing a room.

To mark the 500th Anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, Southampton City Art Gallery will be featuring 12 works in an exhibition entitled Leonardo da Vinci; A Life in Drawing. The work will be on display from 1st February to 6th May 2019 and open 10am-3pm Monday to Friday, and 10am-5pm on Saturday. The exhibition is part of 12 simultaneous exhibitions across the UK featuring some 144 of Leonardo's greatest drawings. Southampton City Art Gallery is the only host venue on the South Coast.
A very successful group painting, thanks to John Hunt for making it happen. A very enjoyable afternoon for all participants.
Our first day back is Tuesday 8th January 2019 at 2pm at the Riverside Centre, Newport. We are having a demonstration by our Chairman Carol Owen entitled "Tutoring". This is free to members. There will be no workshop.
The list has now opened for Nick Martin's Study Day on February 8th 2019 priced £30 per person, Still Life inspired by Cubism. A £10 deposit will be required
